Bear Creek Casket Company specializes in handcrafted pine and cedar urns and caskets with hand fashioned denim interior. The pine casket is made from the pine trees of the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.  The cedar casket is made from the cedar trees of the Niobrara River Valley in Nebraska.  

Our goal is to bring honor to  each family by giving them a casket or urn that they can personalize.  We feel by branding, painting, or drawing on the casket or urn will only enhance it's natural beauty. 

We also encourage the family to add something meaningful like a quilt, animal hide, or photos. 

We hope this personalization process will be a valuable part of your grieving process.

The dream of Bear Creek Casket Company began...

Our family lives in the Badlands overlooking Bear In the Lodge Creek Basin.  Before my dad was diagnosed with cancer, he always said he wanted to be buried in a pine box.  He was granted that wish on July 25th, 2002 in the casket that I built for him (shown above).  After that day, I decided I would only build one more casket, my mother's casket. 

But then God put it on my heart to build this style of casket for other families to lay their loved one to rest in.

We sell our caskets to funeral homes only.
